dIRECTOR OF yOUTH mINISTRY

I am very excited for the opportunity to be the new Director of Youth Ministry at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish. I feel there may have been some divine intervention in my getting this role as it combines my love for my faith and my experience as a teacher. I am eager to share the experiences that have shaped me, including my travels to the Vatican and other sacred sites while I studied abroad in Italy. In addition, I am thrilled to be able to cook with the JHYM -especially Italian cuisine - which is one of my favorite pastimes. I am honored to be able to work with our teens, nurturing their faith, building meaningful relationships, and fostering a welcoming and peaceful environment for all.

I am not only the Youth Ministry Assistant but also a Special Education Para at Henry James Middle School in Simsbury. I'm fortunate to not only interact with the teens during our meetings and events, but to also see some of them at school. I've taught catechism for 4 years and have been a parishioner at St. Catherine's since 2016. Both my children participated in Faith Formation, the Youth Ministry Program, and have been on the Boston Mission Trip. I am super excited to work alongside Maria, our new Director of Youth Ministry, and look forward to helping our teens deepen their faith and relationship with God because faith makes more sense when they don't walk it alone.
